Diversity at Various Voices 2009
Various Voices, a four-yearly festival celebrating international LGBT choirs, was held this May in London; for four heady days the South Bank Centre was filled with choral concerts, choral workshops, dancing, conviviality, and a sprinkling of celebrity.

Diversity, as one of the host choirs (along with The Pink Singers and The London Gay Mens’ Chorus) played a central role in the festival - both through performance and through our strong showing in the ranks of volunteers. The exuberant celebration of singing, the glamorous location, and the wonderful atmosphere of inclusivity meant that for many of us Various Voices was a high point of the year – a glimpse of how the whole of life should be!
