We are proud to announce that our Musical director was appointed Director of Music at Morley College.  It’s a rather historic post following in the footsteps of Gustav Holst and Michael Tippett, but key to its continued success is having someone in place with one foot firmly in the professional music-making world, and, of course, with Diversity Choir. 

BBC Choir of the Year 2010?

We are planning to take the bold step of competing in BBC Choir of the Year 2010. Wish us luck because we are in it to win it! But even if we don’t win, we know that it will be a learning and growing experience, make us a better choir, benefit our audiences and help profile LGBT choral singing across the UK.

We are a charity!

Diversity is pleased to announce that in July 2009 we became a Registered Charity. It means a great deal to us to able to formalise our mission and have that recognised by the Charity Commission.
